There’s just something emotionally confusing about rooting for someone for a few years and then being shut out of a multi-night run at a 1600 person venue after tickets have only been on sale for merely minutes. The album is a collection of traditional, country and bluegrass music from George Jones, Doc Watson, Hank Thompson, A.P. Carter, and others. The same day as the album was announced, "Long Journey Home"/"Life to Go" was released as a two-song single. Barber takes the lead vocal on the Jones-written song "Life to Go." Home is the fourth studio album by American bluegrass musician Billy Strings, following Turmoil & Tinfoil and preceding Renewal.
